Apply immediately:

Useful PowerShell "aliases"

• Quick directory listing (like ll in Linux):

  Set-Alias ll Get-ChildItem

• Detailed directory listing

  function la { Get-ChildItem -Force }
  

• Go up one directory

  function .. { Set-Location .. }

• Go up two directories

  function ... { Set-Location ../.. }

• Open current folder in Explorer:

  function open { explorer . }

• Clear screen:

  Set-Alias c Clear-Host
