Your files never leave your device

snappdf is a free, open-source PDF toolkit that runs entirely in your browser. It helps you merge, split, sign, scan and convert PDFs, without ever uploading your files.

Features

  • Image to PDF: Turn photos, screenshots and scans (iPhone HEIC included) into one PDF. On a phone, the camera auto-crops and straightens the page, like a scanner app.
  • Merge PDF: Combine PDFs into one, in the order you choose.
  • Sign PDF: Draw or upload a signature and place it anywhere on the page.
  • Split PDF: Pick the pages you want and save them as a new PDF.
  • Text to PDF: Type, paste or open a text file and save it as a tidy PDF.
  • CSV & JSON: Convert to Excel, or JSON to CSV.
  • Works Offline: Installs like an app and keeps working with no internet.
  • Privacy Focused: Every file is processed on your device and never uploaded.

Setup & How it Works

  1. Open: Go to snappdf, no install and no sign-up needed.
  2. Pick: Choose a tool from the workspace.
  3. Add: Drop in your file, or take a photo on your phone.
  4. Download: Everything happens in your browser, so your file is ready to save and was never uploaded.

Contribution

We welcome contributions to improve snappdf. See CONTRIBUTING.md for setup, code style and the PR process.
