LSP autocomplete/completion not triggering despite hover & diagnostics working (vtsls) #2873
I'm using the vtsls language server (also tested with the built-in "TypeScript / JavaScript (vtsls)" server) for a plain JavaScript project. The LSP connection appears to be working correctly — diagnostics (e.g. "File is a CommonJS module" warning) and hover information (showing type info on hover) both work as expected.
However, code completion/autocomplete never appears, even when:
Typing fs. after require('fs')
Manually triggering completion via the toolbar shortcut
Project has a valid package.json and jsconfig.json
@types/node is installed as a dev dependency
Tried both the built-in vtsls server and a custom STDIO server pointing directly to the binary (/data/data/com.termux/files/usr/bin/vtsls)
Tried vtsls versions 0.3.0 and 0.2.9
Project is located inside Termux's home directory (not opened via SAF), as recommended
Steps to reproduce:
Open a .js file in a project inside ~/ (Termux home)
Enable vtsls language server
Write require('fs') then type fs.
No completion popup appears (hover and diagnostics work fine on the same file)
Expected behavior: Completion suggestions (e.g. readFile, writeFile, etc.) should appear.
Environment
Acode latest version
Termux (npm 11.19.1)
Android device
