Debugger support plans? #464

Description

@shmerl

Would it be possible to use rust-gpu with something like renderdoc eventually to be able to debug GPU programs in Rust like it supports debugging GLSL or HLSL ones?

    You can already use renderdoc to debug rust-gpu output, it even includes all the source code and line information if you compile with SpirvMetadata::Full (wow that naming is pretty bad):

    #[derive(Debug, PartialEq, Eq, Clone, Copy, Default, serde::Deserialize, serde::Serialize)]
    #[cfg_attr(feature = "clap", derive(clap::ValueEnum))]
    #[non_exhaustive]
    pub enum SpirvMetadata {
    /// Strip all names and other debug information from SPIR-V output.
    #[default]
    None,
    /// Only include `OpName`s for public interface variables (uniforms and the like), to allow
    /// shader reflection.
    NameVariables,
    /// Include all `OpName`s for everything, and `OpLine`s. Significantly increases binary size.
    Full,
    }
