An issue opened just to touch base, and see if this repo is still maintained.
Thank you in both cases!

If no longer maintained, is there any alternative to the magic %%cache functionality?

Can these information be added to the readme in a last burst?

No, currently it is unmaintained. I, however, would not have a problem putting a few resources on maintaining it again, if there are no better alternatives.

I guess the first thing would actually be adding security scanning and automating the testing.
