A live 3D particle wallpaper for macOS and Windows. The song you're playing and its lyrics, every app's notifications, the window you're in, what your coding agents are doing — made of particles, on your own desktop picture.
Terse (the app at terseai.org) rebuilds your own wallpaper as a 3D field of particles and writes what is happening on your computer into it — each line condenses out of the field, holds, and dissolves back.
| 🎵 | Music | The song that's playing and its synced lyrics, drawn line by line in particles. Reads Now Playing — nothing is recorded. Free. |
| 🔔 | Everything else | Notifications from any app, system alerts, window titles — each source with its own switch. |
| 🤖 | Your agents | What Claude Code, Codex, Cursor… are doing right now, and your teammates' lines from a shared agent room. |
| 🏘️ | Code Town | A first-person particle town as the whole wallpaper — every villa is a project someone published. |
| ⚡ | Fewer tokens | For developers: prompt compression, a budget circuit breaker, MCP risk scores and waste scans, all on-device. |
