Database Session Management : Migration errors. #3520

Closed

Description

@zdannar

Hello,

I hope someone can answer some questions about the stability of database migrations for ADK. I have currently ran into a migration issue between versions. I was previously on 1.10 and have upgraded to 1.17. There have been migration changes as indicated by 338c3c8 and Issue.

In the future, are database migrations going to be incremental from version to version and ADK will take care of all of the changes? It is unreasonable to think that the schema will not evolve over time. Maybe I missed something in my deployment to handle the issue? Currently, I am trying to determine if I need to piece together my own migrations or purge all previous session data and tables.

Thank you.

    Hi @zdannar , thanks for reporting this issue. We started to record the DB schema in 0094eea and also provided a cli command adk migration session for future migrations.
