Adds a built-in AI assistant across Code, Notes and HTTP, with cloud provider and local model connections. Users can ask questions about attached content, find records in their vault and carry out application workflows from the chat.
Validation
Targeted automated tests and manual UI checks with OpenAI. The latest QA covered prompt history, steering, draft restoration and persistence across renderer reloads; it does not establish full branch coverage. Ten scoped tests passed in the latest QA run; four prompt-history tests also passed after the caret-position adjustment. Commit formatting and lint hooks passed.
Known development issue
After hot updates in development, chat messages can stop rendering until the renderer is reloaded. The cause has not yet been isolated. HMR is not active in packaged builds.
