This addition would be pretty beneficial imo, as there is no other major oss library for ODS with streaming support, as far as I know.
Also, Germany just made ODF mandatory in the "Deuschland-Stack" (usage in all levels of government) and are supporting oss.
I've recently started looking into the possibility of implementing this as a feature tor the upcoming v2, as I do believe that beside being beneficial for many people it would also be a step in the right direction for the evolution of the project in itself. However as you can imagine this is no trivial task, planning alone will take a few weeks to possibly a couple of months, and that is if there aren't any more urgent issues to tackle in the meantime (which there probably will). Stay tuned for updates on the matter, we will probably open a more detailed discussion for it.
