Research agents and monitoring workflows can search Webz.io and use returned article links, publication dates, matching passages, and relevance scores in downstream blocks. Configure a Webz API key with News Search access in the block, including through a Sim environment reference. Successful searches consume Webz credits and cover the provider's recent 30-day window.

Documentation is added at apps/docs/content/docs/integrations/webz.mdx (route /integrations/webz). The public integration catalog uses /integrations/webz-io.

Testing

• 33 focused tests pass. Review-driven regressions demonstrated 14 failures before the corresponding fixes; four targeted guard mutations were detected.
• Two real loopback HTTP checks passed across editor parameter coercion, request preparation, and response transformation, including zero thresholds, category names containing commas, defaults, and zero results.
• Root lint, lint:check, type-check, all 59 audits, and the block-registry check against fetched origin/staging pass.
• Full root tests: 40,067 passed, 7 skipped across 3,635 files. Existing unrelated lint warnings remain unchanged.
• Inspected the running local catalog page with the Webz mark, API-key authentication, and Search News action.
• Authenticated Webz search was not run because the API key was unavailable. No full logged-in workflow or production build was run.

Review request/response mapping against the official News Search API and preservation of resolved filter values. Authentication follows the existing direct API-key convention; no paid search is performed during credential setup. The generated MDX retains whitespace emitted by the existing docs generator so the exact-content audit passes.
